Reusable Grocery Bags

My small way of contributing to "saving the earth" is bringing my own shopping bag. Helping advance the adoption of reusable shopping bags and reduction of plastic bags as a lifestyle choice. Over the years, I have collected different sizes and colors. They are all reusable and some of them are even washable. Whenever I go to the store, the cashiers are always delighted that I have my own shopping bag. They give me a big smile and some would even say "thank you" to me for saving our planet. A little contribution as may seem but if we will all do it, it will make a great deal.

Hi Es, I'm with you on this one! We do the same thing in our household. We try to go green every way we can. Canvas totes are a cool way to do it. Luckily, teachers always get several as give-away from workshops and trainings. In your collection, I have the World Market and the Ikea. TC!

Hello! First time here, and lovin' it! I'm always delighted to meet people who care for the environment. I also patronize earth-friendly products, as well as companies that are "green". you can explore their sites here:

Have nice green day! God Bless you!

I carry my own shopping bags too. It's not a big thing here in Singapore but slowly and surely, we are going the Green way.

Simply Green Solutions like using reusable bags can instill good, eco-friendly habits for life in consumers everywhere - they see one perosn do it, soon, many people doing it, and habits change for the better and the greener!

Dear Theresa, thank you for following Rock the Cage! I found your project in life very interesting. I became a Phytotherapist for exactly the same reasons. I wanted to be able to help people to get awareness and control of their health. Unfortunately here, as it happens to all other qualifications, that one isn't recognized. I am also a teacher and I consider it the best job of my life and though my qualifications are theoretically recognized, practically they are worth nothing, because I don't come from an English speaking country. I also give my best to follow the footsteps of Jesus - of course I'm not even close! Your site is inspirational. All the best to you, my friend!

Love the kitty!!

I'm a bag person too, they are so much fun to collect with all the different patterns. My favorite ones are the ones that fold up within themselves and tuck nicely in my purse. A lot of stores around here are charging 5 cents now for each plastic bag, so they are encouraging us big time to remember our own bags.

I used to work for a company called "Solutions". One of their products is reusable shopping bags. I just checked the company website. Solutions still sells the bags. In case you would like to add to your collection, here's the address:

I found a website where I was able to purchase generic white cloth bags. Aside from grocery bags, they are used for almost every household task. I always need to carry something (or a few somethings) from here to there.

May I ask for your prayers? I am facing an important life decision tomorrow and I need the Lord's guidance.

Thank you.

Thanks for joining my blog. I'm a faithful bag bringer as well. Besides being better for the environment, the cloth bags work a lot better. :)
