My First Drawing of Myself

When I'm not writing......I am drawing.

My first drawing of myself when I was 17 years old.
'A work of art goes through many phases of development, but in each phase it is always a work of art. (Therein lies the importance of sketches.) A work of art is finished, from the point of view of the artist, when feeling and perception have resulted in a spiritual synthesis. - Hans Hofmann

Great idea, as what you always said, keep your hands busy, and really busy in a very creative way. I did a few paintings, unfortunately, they are no longer with me. I wish I had taken a picture of it so I can share it with you. Anyways, good memories stayed in the heart.

Oh wow, the likeness is very evident! I didn't know you sketch. You truly are an artist, Es! Use that talent girl, not everyone can sketch as well as you do! Looking forward to more of your works!
Enjoy the week ahead! *hugs*

Wow, that's a drawing?! Incredibly life-like. I'm happy when I can sketch out an acceptable truck for my 2-year-old that he doesn't reject. ;)
